Murano glass has become a customer favorite at Uno Alla Volta. Made on a shimmering island off the Venetian coast, each authentic Murano glass piece is masterfully handcrafted using age-old craftsmanship and lampworking techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. Each one-of-a-kind piece is handmade over a small flame using traditional thirteenth century techniques, mixed with a touch of modern flair. From intricately hand-beaded jewelry to masterfully handcrafted figurines with precious gold and silver luster, each beautiful piece is sure to bring a touch of glamour to your ensemble.

Murano is a lagoon isle of Venice, and it has been the world’s capital of glass-making since the thirteenth century. Terri has visited this isle many times on her trips to Italy, where she meets with our Murano artisans including Lorena and her family, as well as husband and wife team Francesco and Roberta. These artisans use Murano glass to craft treasures that go beyond just beautiful jewelry – they create sculptures, home décor, and glass rosaries as well. Such a uniquely special medium deserves an event of its own, which is why we have created an annual Murano sale.
