For centuries, roses have inspired people to develop a language of color. Over time, each color has come to represent certain emotions.
Red is thought to represent romantic love, as well as beauty, courage, and respect. White symbolizes purity and heaven. Pink is considered an expression of appreciation, grace, and gentleness. Yellow is thought to represent friendship and delight. Lavender, enchantment. Coral, desire.
But blue? What does the blue rose mean?
Well… the blue rose does not actually exist in nature. As such it represents the impossible, or the unattainable. Many of you know that one of my favorite gifts is the desk plaque we created to remind someone special that we create our own limits. TUTTO È POSSIBILE! All is possible… that is what the blue rose represents for me.
