About Uno Alla Volta

Located on the beautiful Connecticut shoreline, Uno Alla Volta was founded by Terri Alpert in 2002. A bold entrepreneur, Terri had the vision to bring handcrafted treasures from the hearts and hands of artisans to market.

Our name means “one at a time” in Italian, and describes how our artisans lovingly handcraft each of our treasures. Our merchants travel to every corner of the globe in search of unique, beautifully handmade gifts to surprise and delight our customers. By building personal relationships with each and every one of our artisans, our team has created a worldwide family of creators and collectors. With the mission to tell the stories of each of our artisans, we aim to bring the human connection into every interaction, from the pages of our catalog to our social media posts. As Uno Alla Volta continues to grow, we look forward to expanding our circle of creativity to include new artisans, new customers, and new members of our team.

Mission Statement
To create a specialized business model offering unique product assortments and exceptional brand experiences that enrich and enhance our customers’ lives by fostering human connections. We do this by listening to our customers, creating a strong network of vendor relationships, and developing a culture that fosters teamwork, participation and business-minded thinking, while always remaining true to our core values.

  1. Hi Judy,
Were you able to get into contact with someone and solve this issue?

My Grannie asked me to make a pendant for her friend as a Christmas present. Her friend loved it (which I was delighted about since I just started working with metal) and told me about this site. I LOVE the site and would love an opportunity to share some of my pieces with whomever wants to look. My website is not up and running yet, but is a work in progress.

As an artist living on the opposite coast of you I just found your catalog and I am Loving it, but I noticed you do not have any enamel work at all. I would love to show you my fabulous jewelry that I make here in Westport Washington. As I do not have a web site but I can email pictures. Waiting to hear from you.
    Sincerely Jana Coffey
