Sue began her art career at the age of 12, selling watercolor paintings at art shows in Maine. After moving to Southern California, she began working in stained glass, and since moving back to Maine has focused solely on crafting kaleidoscopes. Today, in her home studio overlooking the scenic Kennebunk River, Sue designs and creates breathtaking kaleidoscopes, many of which can be found in private collections and museums worldwide.
From her home studio, Sue designs and creates collectible kaleidoscopes. She begins with pieces of hand-cut glass framed in hand-soldered copper and brass rods. Inside, a three-mirror magnification system displays an endless array of colors.
